Welcome to Edith's Academy, our licensed home-based daycare and preschool in North Hollywood, CA! Our child care and early childhood facility is located off Laurel Canyon Blvd, between Vanowen St and Victory Blvd. ). About Us: I’m the owner and lead teacher of this child care and early education program, and I have 43 years of professional experience. I run the daycare with my 2 assistants who have 35 years of combined experience. We’re a team of moms with CPR & First-aid certifications. We’re dedicated to providing nurturing care and high-quality early education. Our goal as educators is to guide each child and get them ready for school. Curriculum: Edith's Academy offers an extensive curriculum to benefit your child’s learning. We incorporate elements of various teaching philosophies in our program such as Montessori, Waldorf, and Reggio Emilia in order to help each child develop their socio-emotional, intellectual, and artistic skills. Program: Our daycare and preschool is open all throughout the year from 6:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer full-time and part-time care for newborn babies, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old, including children with special needs.
