Welcome to My Little Village! 🏠 Our licensed child care and preschool program is nestled in the family-friendly neighborhood of Hamilton Newport in Novato, CA. We're conveniently located right off Hamilton Pkwy, easily accessible through Redwood Hwy (US 101), Ignacio Blvd, and the California SR-37. Our location is perfect for families in Marin County and the surrounding San Rafael–Petaluma area!

Program & Services:

My Little Village proudly offers a variety of flexible child care options to support the unique needs of every family in our community. If you require additional or customized care, we are always happy to accommodate whenever possible.

Ages: Infants and toddlers starting from 1 year old, preschoolers, and school-aged children up to 12 years old.

Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. After hours and weekend care (Saturday and Sunday) are also available.

Please note: after-hours and weekend care require advance notice so we can ensure the best experience for your child.

When you enroll with My Little Village, tuition includes organic, home-cooked breakfast and snacks (peanut- and tree-nut-free), a safe, fenced outdoor play area, and a separate nap room.

About Me:

Hello Parents! I am the proud founder and lead teacher of My Little Village! I also hold a Master's in Business Administration and Marketing, and certifications in First Aid and CPR. I am passionate about guiding children as they prepare for their future in a way that respects their unique pace and personality.

My journey began as a nanny and helped me develop a deep understanding of early childhood development. Caring for children is not only my profession but also a meaningful part of my personal life. As a mother to my six-year-old daughter and someone who has supported my brother in raising his children, I truly understand the trust families place in a caregiver, which strengthens my experience and commitment to family-centered care.

My family and I value kindness, respect, and overall well-being, and these principles shape the nurturing, safe environment we provide every day. Every family that walks through our doors is warmly welcomed into our little village family, with intention and love.

It truly takes a village to raise a child! At My Little Village, we believe that children thrive best when surrounded by a caring “village” of support. We have created a fully childproofed, nurturing, home-like environment where children feel secure, valued, and genuinely cared for each day.

In our small-group setting, each child receives personalized attention, allowing them to grow and learn at their own pace, which mirrors the comfort, attention, and consistency of home. We foster a strong sense of community where families and caregivers work together to support each child’s development.

Our village includes a certified kindergarten teacher, committed to helping children build a strong foundation for school while honoring their individual pace of learning. Through play-based, engaging experiences, children are encouraged to explore, build confidence, and reach important developmental milestones in a natural and meaningful way.

Our goal is to create an environment where learning feels joyful, structured, and tailored to each child’s needs. We are dedicated to partnering with families through open, consistent communication to build a foundation of trust, growth, and joyful early learning experiences.

Daily Routine:

At My Little Village, every child is treated and cared for like family. Upon arrival, our days start with a healthy breakfast to support their energy and development. We prioritize safety and sustainability by using only steel utensils, no plastic utensils are used at any time. Nutritious snacks are also provided throughout the day. In addition to English, our founder is fluent in Hindi and can naturally expose children to the language upon request, through simple words and everyday conversations, gently supporting early bilingual exposure.

For our infants, we ensure diaper changes every 2 hours to keep them clean and comfortable, along with personalized routines tailored to each child’s needs. Infants also grow in a warm, family-like environment where they feel like they are alongside siblings, helping them develop a sense of belonging. We maintain regular updates and open communication with parents, so you stay connected to your child’s day and never miss those precious moments.

Our daily schedule includes a variety of engaging activities, such as play-based learning, interactive story time, early literacy development, arts and crafts, sensory play, and outdoor exploration. These experiences are designed to build confidence, creativity, and social skills in a nurturing setting where each child receives individualized attention, patience, and encouragement. We strive to create a warm space that feels like a second home, where every child is valued and supported.
