Hi parents, welcome to Oakdale Montessori Daycare, my licensed family child care program in Olney.
I’m the owner as well as the lead teacher and caregiver. I’m a mother of 2 children myself and I have 22 years of child care experience! I also have a background in teaching (Associates’ degree in Education) and I am also CPR and first-aid certified.
I provide child care and early education for babies starting at 2 months old and for toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. However, I will provide more than just daycare: as a Montessori-inspired home daycare, my little students will also have many opportunities to be academically stimulated. I teach them language, math, practical life, and sensory.
I can offer flexible options to accommodate working families. I provide full-time daycare, as well as drop-in care. My daycare hours are from 6:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
My daycare is well-furnished with highchairs, cribs, and cots for each child, as well as bright carpets. To keep the children safe from illness, we wash our hands regularly. I sanitize toys and surfaces at the end of every day and my home is deep cleaned once a month.
Oakdale Montessori Daycare is in the Oakdale neighborhood, near the Oakdale Church and Olney Manor Recreational Park in Olney, MD. My home is conveniently located right off Georgia Ave, a few minutes away from the Intercounty Connector (route 200).

This family child care program is excellent. The owner is a tremendous teacher and really feels like extended family to us. Our children come home from school everyday happy and I know they have had a full day of playing and learning. I can't say enough good things about the facility or staff.

We cannot say enough great things about the provider and the teachers! They treat the children who attend as if they were their own, and the education is top notch!!! We feel lucky to have both our children attend this provider's program.

We have had a great experience with this provider and have seen both of our sons (ages 4 and 2) grow tremendously in a positive and safe environment. They are always excited to begin their days and eager to learn new things. This provider is very responsive to the needs of parents and does an excellent job of providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for the kids to learn, grow and have fun.

We have had our child here for 9 months and it has been so wonderful. The providers take extraordinary care of each child and you can really tell how much they genuinely care for them. This daycare is amazing. The owner is excellent with communicating everyday how your child's day has been. Also, the assistant is wonderful. I can say that my child has learned so much from learning to colors and shapes to now speaking almost full sentences and she has been attending a little over 16 months now. This daycare is a friendly environment, where you can be assured that your child is not only being cared for, but their educational development is taken to heart. The staff are very engaging, and devote time to addressing your child's individual developmental needs.
