A Leaping Start Child Care is a year-round home-based daycare in Pasadena, MD. Our family child care program is run by Stacy Harris who has 13 years of child care experience. We are open from 6:30am until 5:00pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 12 years old, including children with special needs. We offer both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. We also have before and after school care for children up to 12 years old. Ms. Stacy is AMAZING! She treats every child as her own and really cares about the well being and happiness of the kids. Her house is spotless and she is meticulous about cleaning. Stacy goes above and beyond with her meal preparation and learning activities. My son learned so much and always had so much fun. Ms. Stacy is an absolute blessing and I highly recommend her.

Stacy cares for your children as if they were her own. Her home is always impeccably clean and she has set daily routines that include learning time, outdoor time (weather permitting) and serves breakfast/lunch and snacks. I would recommend Stacy to anyone looking; to me she is much more than just a childcare provider, she has become family and we are lucky to have found her.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this childcare provider. Stacy takes really good care of my kids. They wake up wanting to go to her in the mornings. My kids are actually learning from being there. She has the cleanest house I have ever seen. I have no complaints at all. Would recommend to anyone. In fact I just told my neighbor about her for her child when she has to start commuting back to work.

Stacy provides such a great atmosphere for our children. She has been teaching them their letters and how to write, my son is three and can write his name, and some other words! The time and dedication she has for these kids is not something you see very often, and I'm so glad we found her!

I cannot say enough good things about our children’s time with Stacy!!! They were always happy to be there and still often talk about Stacy or some good time they had there. As a parent, it is hard to leave your child in the care of a stranger for the first time. However, with Stacey it was very reassuring, as I knew my kids were in great care. They loved being there.

Owen attended Stacy Harris' Family Child Care for approximately 3 years for before/after school and in the summer. Stacy does so much with the children and follows a daily routine and curriculum. Her home is always spotless and is also very safe.

Stacy is a great person and even more wonderful childcare provider. She has her routine and the children adjust and become part of the tribe. I was so hesitant to go back to work so great childcare was a must if I were going to consider it. Stacy was more than fabulous. I could not have asked for a better daycare provider. Stacy is so great with the kids, they learn, play and I did not have to worry at all. I highly recommend this daycare.
