North Shore Childcare is a secure environment for children of all ages. We believe that children learn through observation and practice. The infant/toddler room is licensed for 9 children (from 3 months to 2.9 years of age). In this classroom, children work on exploring their surroundings and playing. The older toddlers will begin working on social play. They will also be introduced to routines and learning many songs. The preschool room is licensed for 17 children (from 2.9 through 5 years of age). In this classroom, children will be following routines and directions. They will learn letter and name recognition, counting, colors, shapes, basic skills, gross and fine motor activities, and much more.
Each classroom has two teachers. Every teacher is First Aid and CPR certified, as well as having a teacher certification through the Department of Early Education and Care.
