Licensed preschool in Rockville. I started my own preschool after working as a preschool teacher for many years, where I learned what's best for educating and nurturing young minds. My teaching philosophy is that children learn best through play! My teaching resources include: a learning manipulative center, a sensory table, educational toys, a woodworking area, housekeeping toys, blocks, puzzles, musical instruments, art supplies, and the Mother Goose Time Curriculum for children aged 3 and up. In addition, I keep a clean and daily-sanitized infant and toddler area. I only feed the children healthy organic meals and educate them about the right foods to eat. Everything I do is to encourage the children to be the best people they can be!

Fantastic provider! We love Cristina and "Memories Begin Here". Cristina (and her mom, Maria) work hard to create a warm, loving and nurturing environment. Both of our children thrived in their care, and we always felt comfortable dropping them off for the day. On the rare occasion that I was stuck getting home late from work (terrible DC snow storm), she treated my little one like one of her own! I highly recommend her family child care.

Ms. Tina and Grandma Maria at Memories Begin Here is an amazing daycare facility. We consider them to be an extension of our family, as they have been helping to take care of our son for the past 2 years. Our son is almost 2.5 years old and has been with Christina and her mom Maria since he was 3 months old. They truly are like a second family to us- the kids even call Maria "Grandma". Casey has thrived and learned so much in their care! Cristina is the most amazing provider you'll ever meet. She not only will make sure your child is happy and well taken care of during the day, but she does so with generous love, care and affection as well. We are lucky that both our sons have been with her since babies through pre-K. Can't recommend enough!
