Welcome to ​Joy Education, Jane Zhao Daycare, a licensed home daycare and preschool in Rockville, MD. The child care facility is located in Rockville, right off W Montgomery Ave (route 28), near Maryland Ave (route 189) and the I-270. About Us I’m the owner and main caregiver of this bilingual Chinese daycare and early education program. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business Technology Administration and CPR & First-aid certifications. At my daycare, my staff members and I are committed to offering high-quality care with a 2:7 teacher-to-child ratio. I’m a mom myself, so I understand parents' concerns when it comes to trusting someone with their children. One of our top priorities is to provide a safe learning environment for each child, so you’ll always have peace of mind while you’re away. Teachers and assistant caregivers are also CPR & First-aid certified and parents will have access to webcams during operating hours. Our goal is to work closely with you and to have a harmonious relationship with your family :) We want to be part of your child’s growth and success, and help him or her to develop valuable skills, a lifelong love of language and learning, and discover their true talents. Curriculum Joy Education Jane Zhao Daycare follows the Play-based learning approach and uses the FunShine Express Curriculum. We let our young students experience a good balance of education and fun through age-appropriate STEAM activities (Science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics). Arts & Crafts, Singing, Reading, Writing and other enriching activities are used in our child care and preschool program to promote socio-emotional, cognitive, language, physical, and problem-solving skills. If weather permits, we can spend our outdoor playtime at the nearby community playground. We run a bilingual Chinese program, so in addition to English, we teach our students the Chinese language (we can also teach Mandarin and Cantonese). This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to learn a foreign language at a very young age. Program Details Our daycare and preschool is open year-round from Monday through Friday between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. We provide full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 6 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. Your children will be served with organic, nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snacks to fuel their growing bodies and minds.
