English Manor Educational Childcare, Rockville

Hi parents, welcome to English Manor Educational Childcare, my family child care and preschool program in Rockville, MD. I’m the owner and lead teacher, and I have 13 years of child care and early education experience. I’m a mother myself, and I am CPR and first-aid certified. I provide child care and early education for infants as young as 8 months, and for toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old.

- Comprehensive Curriculum: Our program offers a true early childhood education environment where our students learn shapes, colors, numbers, sing songs, enjoy various crafts, and read books. - Bright and Engaging Environment: Our facility has a great bright space with warm details such as holiday cards and art projects hanging. We have great decor as well as toys and activity sets for infants and toddlers. There is a circle time center and tons of learning curriculum posted. Our space feels like a preschool classroom or learning center, and we use toys, flashcards, posters, books, and more to ensure children are learning. I take pride in having a wonderful child care space with a kitchen, play area, many arts and crafts, as well as a spare guest room with cots for naps and changing tables. - Character Development: I also teach children manners and how to be good friends. I want them to be socially responsible and emotionally mature when they become school-aged. I also have a dog, a lovely and very friendly Golden Retriever! - Hours Of Operation: My daycare hours are from 7:30am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Please keep in mind hours of operation are firm. I offer both full-time and part-time daycare options, and have a play-based preschool program for preschoolers. - Nutritious Meals: Lunch and snacks are included in the tuition for the children in my care. - Before School Care: I also offer before school care for kindergarteners and 1st graders (the assigned elementary school is Lucy V Barnsley Elementary School, and we’re also very close to the Brookhaven Elementary School and Parkland Magnet Middle School.) - COVID Safety: My COVID procedures include using a sanitizer spray and wipes throughout the day and washing hands before and after snacks and lunch. I clean my diaper station and other surfaces with bleach and water.

English Manor Educational Childcare is in the English Manor neighborhood of Rockville, within walking distance of the English Manor Neighborhood Park. My home daycare is near Home Depot and the Northgate Plaza at Georgia Ave and Connecticut Ave in the Aspen Hill area of Rockville.
