Nestled in the Royal View neighborhood of Rockville, MD, Royal View Little Playhouse is a licensed in-home daycare and preschool offering a warm, nurturing environment for your child. Conveniently located near Viers Mill Rd (MD-586) and Connecticut Ave (MD-185), just off Parkland Dr and close to Wheaton Woods Park, we’re only minutes from Wheaton Woods Elementary School.

Program:

Our Spanish immersion daycare program offers full-time child care for infants as young as 3 months, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. We also welcome children with special needs, including ADHD, asthma, and allergies.

Royal View Little Playhouse is open year-round, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. We provide nutritious snacks (included in tuition!) and maintain a peanut-free and tree nut-free environment to ensure every child’s safety.

Hello Parents! We’re the proud owners of Royal View Little Playhouse here in Rockville, MD. With over 10 years of combined experience in child care and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting & Finance, we bring both heart and expertise to our work. We are CPR, First Aid, and MAT-certified to ensure your child's well-being at all times.

As parents ourselves, our love for children has naturally evolved into a passionate mission to support our local community. This passion was born from a personal reflection: whenever we’d see a working parent, we’d wonder: who’s caring for their child? Are they in safe, loving hands?

We thought of our own daughter and asked: will she one day find someone who will care for her child with the same love and dedication? That’s when we knew we wanted to be that person for others. We’re committed to providing high-quality daycare where every child feels seen, valued, and encouraged to grow.

Although we enjoy the benefits of working from home, our top priority remains focused on nurturing and educating the children in our care. We approach our work with humility and care, knowing that trust is earned not just through preparation but through the warmth, security, and emotional connection we bring to every interaction.

Philosophy:

Curriculum:

Our flexible daily schedule adapts to each child’s developmental stage, mood, and needs. As part of our Spanish immersion program, we follow the Creative Curriculum, which promotes learning through movement, play, music, and creativity.

Mornings begin with free play to ease into the day and build comfort. After breakfast, we enjoy music, dancing, and Spanish-language circle time focused on early learning concepts like colors, numbers, and shapes. Children then explore arts and crafts, followed by 30 minutes of outdoor play (weather permitting).

After lunch, nap time allows for rest and recharge. When the children wake up, we offer a healthy snack, followed by another engaging activity before preparing for pickup time. Through every activity, we focus on teaching life skills such as routines, respect, healthy habits, emotional awareness, and decision-making—all in a fun, nurturing, and bilingual setting.
