Nelu's Family Day Care is a year-round home-based daycare in Rockville, MD. Our family child care program is run by Sandra Nelum Ratnayake who has 27 years of child care experience and has a Child Development Associate degree. We are open from 7:00am until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 8 weeks through 12 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. We also have before and after school care for children up to 12 years old. We provide snacks. We found Nelu's daycare by accident. After calling dozens of centers a local Montessori program referred us to Nelu. This is an in-home daycare and I never once worried about my daughter while she was there. Nelu and Mary were amazing and my daughter was always so happy to see them in the morning. When our child was about to turn one year, we were in a rush to move him to another daycare. We visited a couple of places, but when we arrived to Mrs. Ratnayake's Home daycare, we knew that was the place. My son really loves to be there, they had a routine through the day, and he has learned a lot. We recently moved, so we had to moved our kid to another daycare, but whenever we can we try to bring for the day our kid in there, and he enjoy it!
