Grace Greenwell Family Child Care is a year-round home-based daycare in Shady Side, MD. Our family child care program is run by Grace Greenwell who has 10 years of child care experience. We are open Mon-Thur from 8:00am until 4:00pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 5 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. We also have summer camp. At a minimum, our teachers have a Bachelor's degree. Grace is one of the most organized, and well thought out mother's I know. She is absolutely consistent in her approaches which include: Structuring her home in a clean and safe way, while keeping developmentally appropriate and engaging toys and activities within reach of the children. My two children attended this daycare. My oldest attended from ages 2 to 4 and my youngest attended as an infant. Both of their experiences were wonderful. My younger child came home with a daily log of her eating, sleeping and diaper routine whereas my oldest came home with a detailed list of activities from the day.
