About Me:
Hi parents! I'm Elenie Beyene, the owner of Chuchu Child Care, a home-based daycare and preschool in Silver Spring, MD! I am the main caregiver of this nurturing child care and quality early education program. I have 8 years of experience and I am CPR & First-aid certified. I can also administer medication to all attending children since I am a MAT-trained.
Program:
My family child care and preschool program is open from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time care for infants as young as 3 months, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 5 years old, including children with special needs.
I have a preschool-based curriculum, so kids are engaged in stimulating and educational activities such as numbers, letters, shapes, painting, and music. In addition to English, I also speak Amharic and at your request, I can expose your little one to this foreign language.
My child care facility is peanut and tree-nut free and I provide meals to children in my care (lunch and snacks are included in the tuition!) To prevent any type of infectious disease, I take temperatures at drop-off, sanitize surfaces, and wash hands in between all activities.

Eleni Beyene's Chuchu Child Care is in the Colesville neighborhood of Silver Spring, right off Briggs Chaney Rd (near Cross Creek Club Local Park). Our little one began going to daycare at five months old and has been warmly welcomed everyday (even when cranky). Ms E clearly cares about our daughter and all the children under her watch. There is a nice little outdoor space when the weather is nice for the children to get some fresh air. Ms E has been patient, communicative, and kind to both our daughter and her parents.

I did not think that I would find myself searching for child care in the middle of a pandemic. After touring several facilities, I finally found the perfect one. Auntie as we affectionately refer to this provider is amazing with our daughter Malaika. We love this provider. From the first time we met her she was very welcoming to our family. I was nervous about putting my child in daycare so young but once I came across this provider she reassured us that she would take really good care of our Son.
