Hi Parents, welcome to Colesville Park Bilingual Playhouse, our bilingual Spanish home daycare and preschool in Silver Spring, MD. I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have over 2 decades of experience in child care and early childhood education. I’m a mother myself and I hold a Child Development Associate Degree. I run my daycare program with my assistant who also a mother herself and we are CPR and First-aid certified, as well as MAT trained (if needed, we can administer medication to all children in our care). We are a team that provides quality child care and learning experiences for children in a safe and caring environment where they can develop their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive skills. We always strive to meet the needs of the children for nurturing, growth and development, as well as relationships and understanding.

We believe in the value of human diversity and the fair treatment of all people. We desire excellence in meeting the needs of children and their families and to nurture and aid children in their growth and development. Our values and beliefs about children are deeply rooted in the history of Early Childhood Education.

Our daycare is a bilingual Spanish program and we use the Creative Curriculum that encourages the growth of young children into creative, independent, well-rounded and self-directed adults. We also help young children reach their linguistic potential as they absorb both English and Spanish rapidly. Children are engaged in educational, fun extra-curricular activities such as Arts & Crafts, Math, Science, Music and much more!

Our child care and preschool program offers various flexible options to accommodate working families. We can provide full-time care for infants as young as 6 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. We also offer before and after school care for older kids, up to 12 years old (our home is near Charles Drew Elementary School, Stonegate Elementary School, and Cloverly Elementary School). We operate year-round from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday and we can serve peanut-free breakfast, lunch and snacks (please inquire about the fee).

Colesville Park Bilingual Playhouse is near the Colesville Park neighborhood in Silver Spring, MD. Our facility is right off Good Hope Rd and Briggs Chaney Rd, near Peach Wood Park. Your daily to commute will be convenient since we have easy access to these major roads: New Hampshire Ave (route 650), Maryland State Route 200 and Spencerville Rd (198).
