Sunshine Family Child Care is a year-round home-based daycare in Silver Spring, MD. Our family child care program is run by Matilde Moreno who has 15 years of child care experience. We are open from 7:30 am until 5:30 pmand care for children as young as 6 weeks through 5 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care. We also have before and after school care for children up to 5 years old. We provide meals. Sunshine Family Child Care is a Spanish immersion program. At a minimum, our teachers have a Child Development Associate degree. To learn more, please call us or send us an email. My son attended Sunshine Family Child Care as an after school child and occasionally during the summer. I always knew that Ms. Moreno was taking care of him- and loving him- as her own. As soon as we toured Sunshine Family Child Care we knew this was the perfect place for our daughter. Our almost two-year old has been coming here since she was 12 weeks old.
She absolutely loves going to daycare (sometimes she doesn't want to leave) and as a working mom it means the world to me to see her happy and thriving. I am so pleased she is learning so much while having fun playing with her friends!

Miss Matilde Moreno is a very good caregiver. She has been taking care of my son for more than one year and, I do not have any complain about how she is taking care of him.
