Welcome to Tanglewood Little Children's Place, my licensed home-based daycare and preschool in Silver Spring, MD. My child care facility is in the Tanglewood neighborhood, right off Fairland Rd and near the Calverton-Galway Local Park. Your daily commute will be fast since I have easy access to all major roads: Columbia Pike (US-29), the Intercounty Connector (Toll Road, MD Route 200) and the I-95. I would love to meet your family. As a mother myself, I know the challenges of every parent when it comes to finding a trustworthy caregiver and safe child care for their child. If you choose me, you can be sure that your little precious one will be treated as if he/she was my own! I’m a licensed and experienced child care provider with CPR & First-aid certifications. I also hold an Associate's Degree in Marketing.

Tanglewood Little Children's Place is a play-based early learning program with age-appropriate educational activities. If weather permits, we go to my private playground for fun outdoor activities! My program offers full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 3 months, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 5 years old. For parents who are only looking for occasional child care, I can accommodate drop-in care. I’m open all year-round from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Mondays to Fridays. I serve meals to all children in my care (lunch and snacks are already included in the tuition). My facility is a peanut and tree-nut free environment to prevent any possible allergies. I can also provide before and after school care for school-age kids, up to 12 years old (I’m near Galway Elementary School).
