About Me
Hi parents, welcome to Bel Pre Playhouse, my licensed home daycare and preschool in Silver Spring, MD. I’m the owner and main caregiver of this nurturing and high-quality child care and preschool program. I have 14 years of professional experience with Master’s Degree in Public Health and CPR & First-aid certifications. I love working with kids and families, and I promote a natural love for learning!
Curriculum
Bel Pre Playhouse uses the Creative Curriculum to develop children's valuable skills, and participates in the "Maryland EXCELS” program. Our curriculum is tailored to each child's unique needs and learning experience. We have lots of age-appropriate activities in store for your little one such as reading & story-telling, drawing & coloring, outdoor play-time (weather permitting) and much more :)
I also use the Mother Goose Time curriculum (now knows as Experience Early Learning), with elements of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). I engage my students in educational activities like doing science and art projects (for instance various projects on ecosystems, learning the life cycle of butterflies, etc). For older kids, we teach them the Math, Literacy, and Science & Technology subjects, and focused on communication & social skills development.
Program
My daycare family child care program is open all throughout the year from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays. I offer full-time and part-time care for infants (infant care for babies) as young as 12 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 6 years old. All kids attending full-time are provided with peanut and tree-nut free nutritious snacks, which are included in the tuition.
Location
My home daycare facility is located right off Bel Pre Rd, in the Georgian Colonies community of Silver Spring, MD. I'm located within easy access of Georgia Ave and MD State Route 200 making your daily commute to work very conveniently.

This is the only daycare I feel comfortable sending my infant daughter. she is blossoming because of the planned curriculum, attentive providers/teachers, and daycare friends! The caregiver is extremely knowledgeable about programs that are available to kids in MD and has helped with early recognition of some services that might be needed. We love this daycare and can’t wait to see how much more our daughter will flourish!

We had a wonderful experience sending our 3 month old to this daycare. She has a very nice set up for the kids. She is extremely nice, accommodating, and seems to truly love the children. This is by far THE BEST daycare ever in terms of curriculum, child care, facility cleanliness, SAFETY, and staff! It truly feels like a family and my heart is always at ease when I drop off my son. The provider knows her stuff and was able to alert me early and help support my child who was experiencing delays. I also love that I can follow what my son is doing throughout the day by looking at pictures/videos on the app.

This provider is the complete package as far as daycare providers go. My daughter has been here since August 2021 and is already showing tremendous development with her language skills, social skills, and manners. She is excited to go to daycare every morning! This provider's curriculum is amazing, the activities are engaging and the progress is exceptional. Highly recommended!

We love the progress we have seen since our child has started. The environment is warm, nurturing and with a diverse set of families. Our child is always happy and the teachers stay engaged with the parents and the students. wonderful place overall.

This provider is a breath of fresh air. She is so organized, professional, and poised. I know my children are getting the best care possible. My older son came from another daycare and quickly felt right at home in her care. He tells us she’s his best friend. We know he’s getting the specialized, focused, attention that he needs.

The provider and her team are absolutely amazing with our children. They ensure the children's best interest through learning, engagement, playtime and safety. They adapt to each child's personality and formulate an environment suited for that child's developmental needs. We have a 1 yr and 4 yr old attending the care center and both look forward to being with the provider and her team each day. I highly recommend this Family Daycare Center!!!

This provider has taking care of my 2 sons on multiple occasions. Having them with her gives me a sense of peace. Not only do they have an amazing time with her, but she teaches them new skills and provides great food options. One of my kids is a picky eater and we sometimes struggle yo get him to eat. But this provider is good at encouraging him and getting excited to try new foods.

This family childcare is simply excellent.
When I came for my walkthrough, I was immediately impressed with how CLEAN, organized and child-proofed the facilities were. I knew instantly that my children would be safe at this place.
