Happy Kids Home Daycare is a year-round home-based daycare in Springfield, VA. Our family child care program is run by Fabiola Calderon De Canedo who has over 15 years of child care experience and has a CDA. We are open from 7:30am until 5:30pm and care for children as young as 2 months through 7 years old. We offer both full time and part time child care. Happy Kids Home Daycare is a Spanish immersion program where we use an atmosphere that is cozy, with furniture, toys and a curriculum which emphasizes creative learning, through storytelling, singing, dancing, contact with nature and more. hands down the best childcare my child received. he was in this daycare since he was 5 months old and until he was 3.5. Mrs. Fabiola has created the most loving environment for our child to grow and learn. he came back everyday happy and fulfilled and never wanted to leave daycare. We were sad we had to start preschool but we will never forget the memories created at Mrs. Fabby’s daycare.

Ms. Fabi and her family provided a loving, caring, and safe family-like environment for my kids since they were 4 months old. Ms. Fabi is very gentle and calm, and she has a natural almost mystical power over young children. She is so in-tune with their well-being she often knew they were coming down with something before they even showed symptoms. Fabiola has taken care of both of my kids from 6 months to age 4 and since the first day I dropped off my oldest son there in 2016, her home has felt like a home away from home. The toys and learning materials are fantastic and there is a large backyard with an age-appropriate playground. Happy Kids Home Daycare is a wonderful and loving environment! Mrs. Fabiola encourages group play, pre-school curriculum and helping each other. My sons learned please and thank you at an early age, and my older son was very ready for school after attending this facility for four years. I would recommend Mrs. Fabiola to anyone!

We love Ms Fabi!! She is loving and gentle with the kids, and does a great job establishing a routine! There is plenty of play time, but also lots of learning times (even for the little ones). My son is 2 and sometimes when I go to pick him up, he doesn't want to leave, he wants to stay and play with Fabi. That's the best compliment a child caretaker can receive.

Absolutely wonderful! She is the mother figure you always dream about being. She is loving, patient, fair, and always does what is best for your children. She taught be to be a better mom. I sent all four of my children to her. She truly loves children. My kids still talk about her to this day. We would still be with her if we weren't stationed somewhere else. We were with her for 4 years!!

Fabiola's day care is a loving, warm environment when kids thrive and can get ready for school. My kids--and I attribute this in part to Fabiola (I might have something to do with it too :) ) are empathetic, thoughtful kids who are academically doing great. I would recommend anyone take their kids to her facility!
