We are a state licensed Family Day Home previously a Virginia Star Quality Initiative 5 Star Rating. In the application process for the new rating program. We have successfully offered quality child care services to the community since 1991. We have earned a reputation for being known as a place where children play, learn, and grow. Our mission is to support working families with quality child care services to meet their children developmental needs. We have designed our home into a nurturing education environment for children between the ages of 2 1/2 to 12 years. We know that each child is unique with exceptional talents, learning styles, and personalities. Our goal is to maintain a fun learning environment to support happy, intelligent, resilient, and well-adjusted children to their fullest potential. Our daily responsibilities include: - Helping children develop skills to be successful in school and in life - Providing children with early learning opportunities - Supporting children learn-to-learn skills through play in a learning rich environment The preschool years are the foundation for children learning. We use research based age appropriate curricula complimented with recreational/educational community field trips to prepare children for academic and life success at every stage of their development! Our highly-qualified early childhood team is committed to working within each child's comfort zone to ensure optimal social, emotional and educational results. Ms. Jackson holds a Child Development Associates Degree and is currently enrolled in National Association for Family Child Care Accreditation process.
