About Ms. Caryn Care... I have been in child care for the past ten years and I just keep growing and learning all different fun things to add to what we do. I enjoy what I do and I enjoy learning and helping kids be the best they can be. I have two school aged children that have awesome fun with us come summer months...and love their friends. I have two spots available April 14 that I would really like to fill immediately. I am responsible for a comfortable, safe, stimulating, non-threatening environment for preschool children, including my own (during the summer) while parents are tending to other obligations. I combine basic care with teaching responsibilities to give them a well balanced daily program. I help to enhance each child's development through consistent care. I provide children with activities which promote physical, emotional, intellectual and social growth while interacting with other children. I aide children in exploring interests, developing talents, building self-esteem and learning how to share and properly interact with others. I enjoy other activities including reading, storytelling, playing coordination and counting games. I support social and emotional development of the children. I attend to the personal hygiene of each child, changing diapers or soiled clothing and washing hands, trimming nails, checking ears, potty training. I maintain a clean and organized area for play, meals, and supplies. I prepare nutritional snacks and meals. I encourage physical activities. **I want to point out that the environment can be peanut/nut free. Peanut products are not served to children under two... and products are checked if they have been processed in a place that handles peanuts, etc. if there is an allergy in the house. I've had two peanut allergy kids in my ten years...
