Hello, and welcome to Mirror Ridge Children's Place, my warm and intimate home-based daycare located in the Mirror Ridge neighborhood of Potomac Falls in Sterling, VA. Conveniently located near Northern Virginia Community College (Loudoun Campus), our child care facility is just off Potomac View Rd and a minute away from Leesburg Pike and Cascades Pkwy, which makes drop-off and pick-up easier for busy parents.

About Me

As a mother of five, I know firsthand the joys and challenges of raising children. With five years of child care experience and a CPR certification, I decided to turn my passion for nurturing kids into opening my own licensed daycare.

Previously, I worked as an assistant at a daycare center, but I chose to start my own in-home daycare to create a more personalized and loving environment. I'm committed to being not just a caregiver but a supportive partner in your child's growth and development.

Program & Curriculum

Mirror Ridge Children's Place offers both full-time and part-time care for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our doors are open Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm. I believe that children learn best through play and exploration. Our curriculum is play-based, focusing on letting kids be kids while they discover the world around them.

I place a strong emphasis on nature and outdoor learning, so we spend plenty of time outside. Morning sun is a fantastic way for children to start their day, so we like to begin with outdoor play, before moving into our indoor activities and circle time. This approach helps infants, toddlers and preschoolers develop a love for nature while promoting healthy growth.
