At First Place Learning Center, founder Anita Keene’s philosophy is that curriculum should be adapted to the needs of each enrolled child. It is our goal to provide a positive learning environment for children of all ages, whether it is their first experience in school, an encouraging continuation of previous experience, or a new adventure before and after school. It is essential to have open communication between the staff and parents so that we can work in cooperation to develop each child’s cognitive, physical, emotional and social skills. We provide each child with a variety of activities and experiences that arouse curiosity and stimulate all facets of learning. We strive to increase his/her confidence level through positive reinforcement and believe in a warm, loving place for a child to learn and grow.
