Legacy Learning Center & Preschool is a year-round center in Van, TX. We are open from 6:30am until 6:00pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 12 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care. We also have before and after school care for children up to 12 years old. We provide snacks. At Legacy, we offer a variety of lesson plans and hands-on activities designed specifically for each age. Our teachers incorporate various philosophies and teaching concepts in order to meet the needs of children at different ages and learning levels. Communication is very important to us. We understand that parents want to know what happens during their child’s day while they are in our care. We welcome conversations between parents and teachers any time, daily, weekly or monthly. Young children move, move, move. Trying to get a young child to sit for any length of time is challenging. Babies/children reach out to explore things around them. It is through this initial interaction with their world that children develop a sense of curiosity that leads to learning.
