I work alongside my husband of 30 years. We started our home daycare in 2002. Prior to that I worked at a child care center in McLean, VA for about 8 years. We both take regular classes and training throughout the year to stay up to date with new methods to help children develop and learn. My husband and I are both CPR and First Aid Certified. We are licensed by the county to care for 4 children. We're committed to caring for your child in a clean, loving, and creative home. We will introduce your child to the love of art, with arts and crafts activities every day, as well as experiencing the outdoors through daily walks and playground time, learning-focused play, free play, and daily naps (separate nap room for infants and toddlers).

Sara watched my two children from about 6 months old to around 3 years old. She was kind and warm, and I always felt comfortable leaving my children in her care. They were regularly engaged in play, crafts, and other activities related to the seasons, holidays, colors, shapes, letters, numbers, etc. She was like a member of the family--one son even called her "Mama Sara"--and my children, now 8 and 6, still talk about their time there fondly.
