My name is Chian Fuentes, but the children have popularly nicknamed me “Miss Chian”. I am a Charles County native and I live with my husband and 3-year-old daughter. My decision to create “Bright Futures” is the opportunity for me to give back to the community and help parents by providing quality childcare for their children. I believe that quality care and early education create a partnership between parents and providers. At Bright Futures, it is my mission to partner with parents and provide a safe and loving environment with developmentally appropriate lessons and activities that allows your child to explore and learn. At this stage in early childhood development, it is not “teachers” that children need to help them learn, but loving, responsive relationships with caregivers. Bright Futures is a play based program that gives your child the opportunity to explore and grow, create and discover, build relationships with other children in the program, and become confident life long learners. Bright Futures is a licensed in-home childcare that has achieved the Maryland EXCELS quality rating by the Maryland Department of Education and has been recognized as a Child Care Program that continues to provide high quality care and education in a fun and safe learning environment. Bright Futures offers: * Small ratios (3 - 5 children) * Classroom area dedicated exclusively for childcare * Fenced backyard for outdoor play * Structured, educational curriculum provided by "Mother Goose Time" * Daily creative learning experiences for Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers that build upon individual strengths, talents, and activities they enjoy The first five years of your child’s life will be full of incredible developmental milestones and I am so grateful that you have chosen Bright Futures to be a part of your child’s amazing journey.
