Gatari Child Development Center III is a licensed daycare and preschool in Washington, DC. Our child care facility is located in the Ivy City neighborhood, right off New York Ave NE (US-50). Our daycare center is open all throughout the year from 7:00 am to 6:00, Mondays to Fridays. We offer full-time care for infants as young as 6 weeks, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 5 years old, including children with special needs. We provide lunch and snacks to kids in our care (included in the tuition).
Gatari Child Development Center III uses the Creative Curriculum to meet the creative, social, and intellectual needs of the children. We engage our students in various educational activities to stimulate their curiosity, discover new things, and develop their basic sensory skills. We believe that each child is unique so we’re allowing them to learn at their own pace with the guidance of our teachers. For us, it is very important that we acknowledge this in a child's formative years. Our program is designed to help children develop their valuable skills while having fun.

We love this center. The infant teacher is an absolute gem, she clearly cares so much about her babies and has such a way with them. Our son bonded with her right away and is all smiles every day at drop off. The center is breastfeeding friendly and is very flexible with me stopping by anytime to visit or feed my son; I love this for those moments when I miss him but it's also great that they are transparent in what they're doing and welcome... more

This place is clean, safe and I love the updates in the app. I am able to stay in the know with what is going on with my child all day. The center change diaper every two hours or sooner which I love and I every diaper change gets A&D for preventative. The staff (all have child care certificates) is professional and care for all the children. This center also provides lunch and is affordable for childcare in DC. I am looking forward to... more

This daycare was our first choice childcare center for our son who was 6 months when he joined. Everyone here was very welcoming and friendly. The teachers were so helpful, and attentive with all of his needs. The facility is very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this location to anyone!

I would like to see more activity of what my child is doing throughout the day. Also maybe some coloring or what ever curriculum is being done inside the classroom. Thank you!

This daycare is a really great place. The staff in both centers are top notch everyone is like family. I love them sooooo much.

This is the best daycare that one can send their child to. It's a very professional and peaceful place. A place were you can trust your child to attend and as a mommy not worry about your children. .My daughter's teacher is a teacher whom you can approach. She is warm and professional at all times.
