About the staff:
Mount Olivet Children's Place is an intimate and charming home daycare and preschool in Washington DC. This family child care program is run by a team of 2 co-owners who have 12 years of combined experience in child care and early education.
Both providers are moms, so they understand the needs and concerns of working parents. Their philosophy is to treat each child enrolled as their own children! They're both CPR and First-aid certified, and can also administer medication since they are MAT-trained.
About the program:
The daycare is open year-round from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. The program follows the Creative Curriculum – helping children develop their creativity and lifelong critical thinking skills. They provide full-time daycare and preschool for infants as young as 8 weeks old, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 3 years old, including children with special needs. Drop-in care is also available for your occasional needs and this daycare offer a peanut and tree-nut free environment.

I can’t say enough about the owner and her team. we had our 8 week old in here care for almost a year until we moved to Buffalo. we miss them everyday. the ladies are all so loving and it felt like home. my daughter was well taken care of and loved going to see them everyday. if I could my daughter would still be under their care. thank you.

Our daughter loves going to daycare every day! She’s excited to see the teachers, and you can tell they love her and care for her like she’s their own.

My son has been attending this daycare center since he was 3 months old, and he is now 16 months old. I like that it is a small center with a family feel that translates over into the care of the children. The curriculum exposes the kids to new foods, art, activity (they frequently take them to the playground), and most importantly socialization. I highly recommend this family child care. Our son started there when he was 8 months old. Our son had difficulty transitioning, but the staff were kind, nurturing and helped us through the process. If you saw our son, you would have never known it. Our son has grown up so much because of them. They center is very clean. They love and care for your child as if it was their own. They truly are family.
