Curriculum & Program
We offer an age-appropriate, structured curriculum that is designed to meet each child’s developmental, intellectual, physical, mental, and socio-emotional needs. Our child care and preschool program is run by our qualified and trained teachers who are fully dedicated to providing the best services for your child.
Depending on your child’s age and needs, our early learning programs include:
Infants Program (6 weeks to 17 months)
Parent partnerships begin in our Infant rooms, where our dedicated caregivers partner with parents to create an individualized child care plan for their child. Once enrolled in our Infants program, you will enjoy these benefits:
- A secure, nurturing, and age-appropriate environment
- Consistent, responsive caregiving
- Individual attention and developmentally appropriate activities.
Toddlers Program (18 months to 23 months)
When our infants are strong on their feet, they are soon ready to move into a Toddler classroom. We then begin to encourage toddlers to participate in structured activities designed to develop their fine and gross motor skills, listening and speaking skills, and early literacy skills.
In this program, our staff provides the children with the material and guidance necessary to enjoy various fun, learning activities, but adapts each and every activity to meet the children’s changing needs, tap into their emerging interests, and engage their curious minds! Children can also verbally expressed their feelings to parents and teachers.
To meet the needs of toddlers, we maintain a child to staff ratio of 3:1 so you can be sure that your child will receive plenty of individualized attention. Parents are also allowed to call and visit our facility regularly.
Preschool Program (2 years old)
At this stage, your child can learn through a variety of stimulating and hands-on experiences to support their development and growth.
Teachers will introduce them to academic subjects such as Math, Science, Pre-reading, Pre-writing, Arts, and Computers. Their day usually starts with circle time, which includes songs, music, show & tell, poems, and group discussions.
Pre-Kindergarten Program (3 to 5 years old)
Our Pre-Kindergarten program goals are aligned to Maryland State learning standards, ensuring that our curriculum develops the skills that children need for their future academic success. Teachers are very responsive to children’s unique needs and abilities, which builds each child’s confidence and instills a love for learning :)
The Pre-Kindergarten learning environment is bright and colorful, encouraging children to be creative and have fun. Pre-kindergarten classrooms offer a variety of stimulating activities and have many interest areas including: Language & Literacy, Science, Creative Art, Outdoor Play, Dramatic Play, Water Exploration, Computers, Blocks, and Music and Movement.
Our staff maintains an assessment portfolio for each child, which tracks developmental progress (this is always available for parents to review).
We also offer before and after school program for school-age kids and in the summer, we have a fun Summer Camp Program.
