Marumsco Acres Bilingual Daycare is a home-based family child care and preschool program in Woodbridge, VA. I am a mother of 3 myself, and I understand the needs and concerns of working parents when it comes to finding safe and affordable child care. I have 18 years of experience and I have a first-aid and CPR certification!
Program
My daycare is open between 7:00am and 6:00pm, and I provide full-time daycare for infants and toddlers, as well as preschoolers up to 5 years old. Lunch and snacks are included in the tuition for the children in my care (I run a peanut-free daycare).
I can also offer before and after school for children up to 12 years old. There is a bus stop right on the corner of the daycare for Potomac View Elementary School.
To prevent the spread of any infectious diseases, we wash our hands regularly, especially after meals and playing outside. I also sanitize toys at the end of the day.
Curriculum
I run a bilingual Spanish-English child care program so it's a wonderful opportunity for your little one to become bilingual. My curriculum covers all the basics to prepare the kids for school. I engage them in fun, educational activities such as puzzles, arts & crafts, colors, shapes, learning numbers, etc. I also teach them science, socio-emotional skills, independence, and manners.
Safety

Marumsco Acres Bilingual Daycare is in the Marumsco Acres neighborhood of Woodbridge (off Jefferson Davis Hwy, near the Marumsco Plaza Shopping Center). My home daycare is just a few minutes away from the I-95 for your commute to work.

My daughter has been going here for almost 6 months now and she loves it! The owner and her staff are caring, responsible and very attentive to the children. While there may be many choices of daycares, all providers are not created equal. My daughter has been attending since before Covid shutdown and I was adamant about her returning when it was safe to a place where I was a) kept updated throughout the day and b) staff were bilingual. We have found a perfect fit and I am glad to have found Marumsco Acres.

This daycare was recommended by a friend since I was looking for a daycare nearby my home. My children have been there since July and I couldn't be happier. The owner and her staff do an amazing job looking after my children. They enjoy being there. I love that she sends pictures of them throughout the day and does various activities with them as well. I definitely recommend her daycare to anyone seeking childcare.

This daycare is amazing! my daughter loves going and I think that’s awesome. she tries to keep the kids outside and active when the weather allows it. I love that she is bilingual as my daughter understands both English and some Spanish. She keeps me updated with what my child’s doing throughout the day & I think that’s amazing. This provider is such an amazing child care provider. She shows her professionalism in her care. Very reliable and responsive. She keeps me updated every day with my child. With trying to raise our child bilingual we found a perfect fit! The culture and the feeling of home is prominent. The best part is the photos I receive while I am at work makes me feel connected. I have recommended her to family and friends.

This provider was awesome! I’ve taken my daughter to a few centers and this center has definitely taught my daughter so much while enrolled. She takes the children out of lot which was wonderful because my daughter is very active. She updated me consistently about what she was eating and learning and doing, and that really helped me feel comfortable especially as first-time mom. you will not regret enrolling.

I met this provider when I was about 8 or 9 months pregnant. I was worried about sending my newborn baby to a big daycare with a lot of children. My son has been going to this provider for almost a year now and he absolutely loves it. He is always excited to go and sometimes doesn't want to leave because he is having so much fun. He is always engaged with activites, toys or playing outside.

Leaving your baby full time with anyone is a scary thing for parents but this provider makes it soo much easier for our family. She sends me updates, and pictures frequently! She also understands when life happens and we need changes in the schedule. We really appreciate her and her team in making sure our very active toddler is happy and healthy!

I love this daycare and most important my children love this daycare. I tried 5 other home daycares until I found this provider. The provider is very friendly and genuinely cares about children in her care and keeps me update on my children throughout the day with pictures and text to recall what they learned that day. I am truley thankful for this daycare.

This provider is amazing! She is honest, reliable and caring and has never-ending energy. She keeps the kids busy and loves to spend time outdoors. I don't know what I would have done without her....I never worried about my kids when they were with her.
