Welcome to Orangewood Children's Place, a nurturing and licensed home-based daycare in Woodbridge, VA. Our child care facility is located right off Orangewood Dr and Dale Blvd, between Woodhaven and County Center. We’re very accessible for commuters since we’re also near Spriggs Rd and Hoadly Rd (route 642) making your daily drop-offs and pick-ups easier! If you have school-agers, we’re close to both Rosa Parks Elementary and Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary.

I'm the proud owner of this family child care and preschool program. I have almost a decade of experience, including over a year working at another licensed daycare and nearly eight years as an elementary teacher in my home country. I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, so I can provide a combination of play and structured learning. As a parent myself, I understand the concerns you may have in leaving your child's side. But rest assured, your child’s well-being and growth are my top priorities. At my daycare, your munchkins become an extension of my own family, and I'm dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment where your child will thrive. Our facility is peanut-free and tree nut-free to guarantee a safe environment for all our little students.

Orangewood Children's Place operates from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and we cater to children aged 3 months to 7 years. Whether you need full-time or part-time care, or a preschool program, we’re here to meet your family's needs (please note that while our facility is open from 7am to 7pm, our regular tuition rates cover 10 hours of care at most, please inquire for longer hours). We also offer breakfast, lunch and snacks for an additional fee.

Our curriculum for infants, toddlers and preschoolers uses a combination of play-based and academic teaching philosophies. Our approach and daily activities are personalized to match your child's age and developmental stage. Our facility operates in a single family house with a large backyard where we can all have fun with outdoor play (weather permitting).
