Precious Tots Learning Place is a year-round home-based daycare in Woodlawn, MD. Our family child care program is run by Tanya Blackmon who has 36 years of child care experience and has an Associate's degree. We are open from 7:30am until 5:00pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 5 years old, including children with special needs. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. We provide meals. We use a play based curriculum. To learn more, please call us or send us an email. My child was the first child (12 weeks old) in the care of Tanya Blackmon Child Care! As a new parent she not only care for our son; but for us as new parents! Tanya Blackmon provided excellent care of my son from 3months to age 5 . Not only was she caring and loving, she was also structured and an educator. My son was well prepared for elementary school and could even speak some Spanish and sign language. My son is now a young adult and still applies principals learned with Ms. Tanya. As a first time mom, I learned a lot from her too..I never worried about my son when in her care. Highly recommend!!!!

I attended this day care when I was younger, I am now 20 and in college. This place is something that will forever be a core memory and something that I hold close to my heart. Mrs. Blackmon and her day care has helped shaped me into the women I am now. I remember having fun while also learning. My son has been going to Precious Tot’s since he was 4 months old. When I first met Ms. Tanya for a tour, her professionalism and experience made me feel so comfortable. Ms. Tanya is caring, amazing, knowledgeable and very informative. My son has learned so much. Ms. Tanya is always creating memorable learning experience that my son loves to share. If you are looking for quality care then this is the place for you.

Mrs. Tanya takes good care of my daughter since she was 7 weeks now two years old. She learns a lot fast. she’s saying her abc’s & very familiar with her colors and more. Zari and is always ready to go back missing her friends & Mrs. Tanya. Thank you so much for the care you provide for Zari.

Highly highly recommending !!! Mrs. Blackmon is Great, and professional. My son started when he was 6 months, he is now 4. Mrs. Blackmon is always so helpful and caring. She has great communication and various memorable activities throughout the years! My son is now ready for pre-k next year physically, mentally, academically thanks to Mrs.Blackmon.
