About us Woodley North Children's House is a nurturing daycare and high-quality early childhood education program in Falls Church, VA! I’m the owner and lead teacher and I have 17 years of experience. I run my daycare and preschool program with my 2 daughters who have 15 years of combined experience. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Technology and my assistants have a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and an Associate’s Degree in Dentistry, respectively. We are a welcoming, safe, friendly family child care program run in a smoke free environment. We have teachers who come from a background in pediatrics, dentistry, early head-start and more! Curriculum We follow the Play-based learning philosophy, allowing children to learn through play. We offer a variety of learning activities for young children, from dancing to singing, arts, building blocks, learning how to brush teeth and much more! We also offer extra-curricular activities focusing on sports and physical activity (such as yoga) and life skills, such as gardening and manners. Daily Schedule We generally start off the day by having free play, where children arrive and explore new things each and everyday. This free time is followed by breakfast, circle time (also known as story time), centers of choice (dramatic play, blocks, puzzles, library, etc.), learning centers (writing, arts, math, science), clean up/bathroom time, outdoor play (weather permitting), lunch, rest time, clean up/library, bathroom/hand washing, snack time, story time, outdoor play/indoor/music & movement, and last but not least, free play again! Program Our hours of operation are 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We offer full-time care for infants, toddlers and preschoolers (ages between 6 weeks and 5 years old including children with special needs). Cyrandall Valley Kids Playhouse

Thank you for your interest in Cyrandall Valley Kids Playhouse, my home-based daycare and preschool in Vienna, VA! My child care facility is in the... Cyrandall Valley North community (between Oakton and Vienna), right off Blake Ln (route 655). My daycare is very accessible for commuters since I have easy access to the I-66 and Chain Bridge Rd (route 123). About Me I’m the owner and main caregiver and I have 11 years of experience in providing nurturing care and quality early education. I have CPR & First Aid-certifications. As a mother of 5 myself, I can relate to parents seeking for best child care for their little precious. At my daycare, all kids attending my program receive plenty of individual attention since I can only accept a maximum of 4 children. Curriculum I use the Creative Curriculum with lots of fun, academic, and life-skills activities such as arts & crafts, cooking, story-time, music, gardening, manners, self-improvement, and science. My daycare is not a bilingual program, but I can introduce your child to the Spanish and Arabic languages upon your request (I teach my young students some words like colors, shapes, greeting, etc.). I also encourage children to be independent and to learn by exploring the world. We practice good manners like how to share with other people. I help each student to boost their self-confidence and teach them different life skills. Children in my care always enjoy our Science activities (like how to make bubbles from scratch!) I also have a “lending library”, where parents and children can borrow books for a couple of days. Program My daycare and preschool is open year-round from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I can provide full-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 2 months and 5 years old, including children with special needs. I’m part of the USDA Food Program and I serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks to all children in my care (already included in the tuition). In the summer, I offer a fun summer camp program. For older kids up to 12 years old, before and after school care are both available (I’m close to Oakton Elementary School and Mosby Woods Elementary School). Due to possible allergies, I run a peanut and tree-nut free environment. Thanks for reading my profile! Please send me an email or call to schedule a visit, I would love to meet your family in person :)
