Teachers & StaffOur loving and devoted professionals at KinderCare are passionate about teaching and caring for young children. As a high-quality child development program, our teachers exceed state minimum standards for education level and ongoing professional development. Their lifelong love of learning is evident in their desire to stay abreast of new research and teaching techniques. Families meet with teachers three times per year to review their child’s progress, which is documented in our developmentally appropriate assessments, portfolios, and anecdotal notes about daily achievements. We feel privileged to work alongside families to form supportive and cooperative partnerships. Health & SafetyOur top priority at Prairie View KinderCare is to provide a safe and healthy environment for our children, families, and staff. We do this through rigorous training and constant assessment and evaluation of proper policies and procedures. Your child’s security begins at the front door--literally. We have a locked security entrance that requires a numeric code to enter, with all side doors locked to ensure the security of the building. All guests or those authorized for emergency pick-ups must provide photo identification before being escorted through the building. Our teachers have all cleared local, state, and federal background checks, including fingerprinting, and have all been trained in infant and child CPR and First Aid. We do routine fire, storm, and lock-down drills to prepare for the unexpected. No child is ever left unattended, even for a minute. Teachers have all been trained in supervision, discipline and guidance, and developmentally appropriate practices to ensure they understand the risks associated with the children in their care. If your child has food allergies or specific medical conditions, we will work with you to ensure your child’s well-being while in our care. We also take the responsibility of your child’s emotional security very seriously: We want every child to feel safe, loved, and respected while at KinderCare.

Chouteau and Parvin KinderCare

OverviewWelcome to our Nationally Accredited Chouteau and Parvin... KinderCare! Our school is nestled in a quiet community. Our tenured and educated teachers take pride in ensuring your child is immersed in a loving and nurturing environment that fosters a love of learning. We are more than a daycare and/or child care center: We are a school that has been nationally recognized for providing exceptional curriculum designed to meet each child’s individual needs. According to new data, kindergarten students who experience our high-quality early childhood education were on average four months ahead of their peers nationally. The study was conducted using Terra Nova, a widely used standardized assessment tool. These findings are consistent with other assessments, including previous results from the Maryland Model for School Readiness, which measures the impact that our learning programs have on children. Students enrolled in KinderCare centers for more than one year yielded even higher scores. We invite you to experience the accreditation difference by scheduling a tour at our school. Teachers & StaffThe teachers and staff at the Chouteau and Parvin KinderCare are passionate about educating and nurturing children. Our team strives for excellence through the continuing education and opportunities for self-development. They strive to promote a positive learning environment that creates opportunities for meaningful moments and plenty of staff engagement. At the end of the day, the true key to our teachers' success is their passion for teaching and their love of learning. Health & SafetySafety is our number one priority at Chouteau and Parvin KinderCare. Our front door has a keypad entry system that requires a code for entrance into our center. This code is changed twice a year or more if needed. We also have a secure, fenced-in outside play area where the children can play safely. As the parents or guardians enter, we have a sign-in and sign-out book in the entryway that families are required to fill out at drop-off and pick-up. To ensure that only properly authorized people are picking up the children, we verify photo ID's and compare them to the paperwork that was submitted. In our classrooms, we keep Child Supervision Records, where the teacher checks attendance every half hour and center management reviews a minimum of three times a day. We clean our classrooms and main center areas daily and sanitize the center nightly, following all state and company health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all the children in our care. Each center has a health and safety staff member who makes sure that your children are safe the entire day.
