Good Luck Estates Children's Place
About Me Welcome to Good Luck Estates Children's Place, my home daycare in Lanham, MD! I am a mother of 2 and I have 8 years of child care experience. I hold a Child Development Associate's Degree in Early Education and I am also a CPR and first-aid certified. My mission is to provide quality child care for all families in the community in a warm, nurturing, loving and educational environment. Program My daycare is open between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I care for infants as young as 2 weeks, and for toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. I also provide before and after school care for school-age children up to 13 years old. My family child care program offers various flexible options to accommodate working families (full-time daycare, part-time daycare, etc.). Peanut free and tree-nut free snacks and lunch bunch are included in the tuition (I participate in the USDA food program). Curriculum My home daycare’s curriculum enables each child to develop new skills at their own ability levels, to prepare each child to succeed in kindergarten and to provide a safe, healthy environment for the children so their parents can obtain peace of mind about their child’s care. I also offer a variety of activities in a friendly and supportive environment through Play-based approach. Child Care Goals • To provide high quality, developmentally appropriate child care for preschool children with focus on the individual child’s age and ability to stimulate social, cognitive, physical and emotional growth. • To provide a safe, nurturing and recreational environment for school age children while their parents work or attend school. • To provide opportunities for families to be involved with their children’s education and have access to parenting support and education. Location Good Luck Estates Children's Place is located off Good Luck Rd, with easy access to the I-495 and the Baltimore Washington Parkway. My home daycare is near the Robert Frost Elementary School and the Lamont Elementary School. Please send an email to learn more and schedule a time to meet. I would love to meet you and your family!
