Teachers & Staff The teachers and staff at the Elmhurst KinderCare are passionate about educating and nurturing children. Our teachers have an average tenure of five to 10 years at our center. (We have three staff members with 19 plus years with KinderCare)  The majority of our teachers have their Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, or a Childhood Development Associates Credential. The Elmhurst KinderCare team strives for excellence through continuing education from bi-annual company professional development trainings to seeking additional college courses or seminars in the education field. At the end of the day, the true key to our teachers' success is their passion for teaching and their love of learning. Health & SafetyAt the Elmhurst KinderCare Learning Center, your child's safety is one of our top priorities. Not only are all of our outside perimeter doors locked to ensure security, but all of our playgrounds are fenced with locked gates as well. In addition, we have a security door in to the classrooms. The door has a coded entry where only authorized family members will have a code to enter. Otherwise a door bell is available to visitors who will be greeted by a Center staff member. At the Elmhurst KinderCare we have a Health and Safety Coordinator on site as well. Ms. Jenny’s role includes conducting monthly fire and tornado drills, ensuring that all staff’s first aid and CPR certificates are up to date, and maintaining high cleanliness standards.

We offer a research based, age appropriate curriculum that meets and exceeds the needs of children ages six weeks through the age of 5 years old .Through the use of small group sizes and qualified staff, we are able to provide an individualized education that meets the needs of every child while also encouraging family involvement. Also as a Gold Circle of Quality Recipient team, the teachers and I work with each family to make sure that their child is getting the best quality education possible. Teachers & StaffThe teaching staff here at the Westbrook Corporate Center KinderCare in Westchester, is completely passionate and very committed to providing the best educational environment for all of the children in our care. With a combined total of over 120 years in the early childhood education field, our teachers respond to the unique needs and interests of every child in each of our classrooms. Our goal as your child's first teacher is to give each child the best quality education, instill a foundation of learning and create memories that will last a lifetime.    Health & SafetyThe health and safety of our children and staff is a very important priority at our center. We are pleased to have a Health and Safety Coordinator to ensure that we are in compliance with all KinderCare and state laws. Each staff member is CPR and First-Aid Certified and is also required to pass a state and national background clearance before they are eligible to be hired. Here are  some of the health and safety practices that our staff focus on continously to make sure that our children have the safest environment: Child Supervision Record count every 30 minutes; constant cleaning and sanitation of classroom materials; and practice all emergency evacuation procedures with all of the children in our center each month.
