In fact, a recent study done in the state of Florida showed that children who attended KinderCare for Pre-Kindergarten were more prepared for Kindergarten! Now that is something to be proud of! Teachers & StaffWelcome to Winter Springs KinderCare. The children benefit each day from the friendly and engaging staff. Our staff is passionate about educating and caring for children. Our average tenure is six years; with some team members that have been with KinderCare as long as 28 years. This team is dedicated to building a positive educational environment for children. Health & SafetyOur center has a key pad lock to enter the center. Each teacher also gets to know the families that are picking up the children, if they are not familiar with an individual they will immediately contact management to verify identification. Each member of the team is first aid and CPR certified. We have a fenced in playground and are off of the main road. We have one person designated to monitor the daily safety of the building. They will walk the center daily as well as conduct monthly safety audits and monthly fire and disaster drills. The safety of the children is the most important thing we do each day.

This code is only known to enrolled families and is changed randomly in order to keep the security level at its highest. Each teacher also knows who is authorized to pick up the children. If they are not familiar with an individual they will immediately contact management to verify identification. We take the safety of all children entrusted into our care very seriously. With this in mind, team members are First Aid, CPR, and Fire Safety certified. Since the center opened, four years ago, our teachers have an average tenure of four years at our center and an average of nine years in the early childhood education field. The majority of our teachers have their Child Development Associate's credential, Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in early childhood education. The Vista Lakes area KinderCare team strives for excellence through continuing education from biannual company professional development trainings to seeking additional college courses or seminars in the education field. Health & SafetyAt KinderCare Learning Centers, your child's safety is one of our top priorities. Not only are all of our outside perimeter doors locked to ensure security, but all our playgrounds are fenced with locked gates as well. In addition, the front door of the building has a coded entry, where only authorized family members will have a code to enter. Otherwise, a door bell is available to visitors who will be greeted by a center staff member. At the Vista Lakes area KinderCare, we have a Health and Safety Coordinator on site, as well. Meagan's role includes conducting monthly fire drills, ensuring that all staff's First Aid and CPR certificates are up to date and maintaining high cleanliness standards.
