Learning 4 Life Family Child Care Program
Learning 4 Life (L4L) Family Child Care Program is a Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) licensed family daycare program developed in 2014 by Debra Stevens, Owner. Learning 4 Life is dedicated to providing a perfect balance between learning and fun for preschoolers through grade school. I actively participate in the MD EXCELS – quality rating and improvement program, the ASQ-3 Developmental Screening Early Childhood Program, and the USDA Food Program to secure guidance in providing a continuum of quality services. I am the proud mother of two sons and five grandchildren. I am trained in CPR, First Aid, Food and Breast Milk Handling and other child care related areas. I promote and reinforce good manners and sharing relationships. My program embraces diversity and I encourage play, exercise, exploration, imagination games and dress-up to help each child feel unique and truly special. I offer flexible schedules to meet the varying needs of today’s average busy family. Learning 4 Life, in partnership with parents, provides a safe, educational and nurturing environment that holistically promotes your child’s growth and development. For additional information, please contact Ms. Debra Stevens by phone or email. We can discuss my flexible age appropriate curriculum, special discounts for siblings. L4L offers full days, part-time, evening/weekend (upon request), school closings, "Date Night Specials" for parents. I look forward to hearing from you to discuss how I can assist with your child care needs. Please make sure to mention that you found us on CareLuLu. MSDE License#: 161982
St Philip Neri Extended Daycare
St. Philip Neri School is dedicated to fostering Catholic faith and academic excellence. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, students are provided the opportunity to develop their gifts and talents while striving to become active members of their church. A foundation for future success and life-long learning is provided in partnership with the family, parish and school community. St. Philip Neri School follows the Archdiocese of Baltimore Early Childhood Course of Study, adapted from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). We recognize that an early childhood program is essential to a child’s spiritual, social, emotional, cognitive and physical development. By state regulation, we require a child entering PreK must be four years old by 9/1/2014. Parents have the option to pick either a full or a part-time program. Part-day students are still five days a week, but dismiss at 12:15 PM each day. For the 2014-2015 school year, tuition for full-time is $5,625, and $3,750 for part-time. St. Philip Neri School follows state regulation requiring a child entering Kindergarten be five years old by 9/1/2015. Kindergarten is a full- day program, with the school day running 8:10 AM- 3:00 PM. Extended Day Care is available. For the 2015-2016 school year, tuition for full-time students is $5,795. Doors in the school open at 7:45 and dismissal is at 3:00. Students start their day with the rest of the school in prayer and the Pledge of Allegiance. Afterwards, they are ready to start their academic routine which includes: Catholic curriculum of math, snack, morning recess, religion, phonics, lunch, rest time, afternoon recess, center time – where they re-visit in a hands- on way the academic themes of the day – and then the “special” class of the day. Kindergarten students are blessed with the opportunity to have six “specials” that happen once a week. These classes include: music, Spanish, library (where the children can bring a book home for the week), gym, art, and computers.
