About Me: Welcome to Saddle Creek Kids Playhouse, my family child care program in Burtonsville, MD! I’m the owner and main caregiver of this home daycare and I have over 5 years of child care experience. I’m CPR and First-aid certified, as well as MAT trained (so I can administer medication to children). I am also a mother myself and I understand parents' challenges in looking for quality, safe and affordable daycare. Curriculum: I believe that children learn and develop their skills through play – and hence, I follow the Play-based teaching philosophy. My program offers a home-like environment where children feel safe and loved. Your kids will surely enjoy all activities in store for them such as outdoor play (twice a day and if weather permits), music time, coloring, learning the alphabet, sports and baking (every Friday). Program: My daycare is open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. My program offers options to accommodate the needs of working families. I can provide full-time care for children as young as 6 weeks up to 5 years old and part-time care for toddlers through preschoolers. Drop-in care is also available for your occasional needs. My daycare also provides morning and afternoon snacks to all children in my care (included in the tuition!). I’m a mother of 2 children, and before opening my own daycare, I worked both in a child care center in Laurel, and in a smaller home daycare in Columbia, MD. I have experience working with children with food allergies and in addition to my child care experience, I was also Elementary School teacher in Cambodia. I hold an Associate’s degree in teaching from Cambodia, and I am currently pursuing a Child Development Associates’ degree. I am also CPR & First Aid certified, as well as MAT certified (Medication Administration Training). My Daycare I run a small family child care program offering full-time and part-time daycare. I offer care for infants as young as 2 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. My hours of operation are Monday through Friday, between 7am and 6pm. Lunch and snacks are included in the tuition and are peanut-free and treenut-free (I have experience working with children who have food allergies). In addition to English, I also speak fluent Cambodian (Khmer) and can teach your child (upon parents’ request, I can offer a Bilingual Cambodian child care program.) Discounts are available for military families, and for families with siblings enrolled! Our Location Bentley Park Family Child Care is in the new Bentley Park community of Burtonsville, near Columbia Pike (route 29) and Sandy Spring Rd (route 198).
