About The Program This family child care program is open from 6:15 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. They offer full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 2 months, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. Children attending the daycare are served with peanut-free snacks (already included in the tuition). Before and after school care are both available for school-age kids, up to 12 years old (the facility is very close to Lamont Elementary School). About The Curriculum This child care and preschool program follows the Play-based learning philosophy, allowing children to learn through play. About Me Welcome to Good Luck Estates Children's Place, my home daycare in Lanham, MD! I am a mother of 2 and I have 8 years of child care experience. I hold a Child Development Associate's Degree in Early Education and I am also a CPR and first-aid certified. Program My daycare is open between 6:30 am and 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I care for infants as young as 2 weeks, and for toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old. I also provide before and after school care for school-age children up to 13 years old. My family child care program offers various flexible options to accommodate working families (full-time daycare, part-time daycare, etc.). Peanut free and tree-nut free snacks and lunch bunch are included in the tuition (I participate in the USDA food program). Curriculum My home daycare’s curriculum enables each child to develop new skills at their own ability levels, to prepare each child to succeed in kindergarten and to provide a safe, healthy environment for the children so their parents can obtain peace of mind about their child’s care. I also offer a variety of activities in a friendly and supportive environment through Play-based approach. NASA Goddard Child Development Center opened its doors in June of 1973, committed to the purpose of combining quality childcare with excellence in early childhood education.
