Brixton Multilingual Children's Daycare
About Us: Hi, parents! Welcome to Brixton Multilingual Children's Daycare, our multilingual home daycare and preschool in Bethesda, MD! Our in-home child care and preschool program offers children the opportunity to learn English, Spanish and/or Russian. I'm the owner and director and I have 12 years of child care experience. I'm also a mom of 3, and hold a Child Development Associates degree. I run our family child care and preschool program with my lead teacher who holds a bachelor’s degree, is a mom as well, and also has 12 years of experience! We are CPR and first-aid certified, as well as MAT trained (so we can administer medication to the children in their care if needed). Our Program: Our program is open year-round from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We can provide full-time and part-time daycare and preschool for children between the ages of 6 weeks through 5 years old. We can also accommodate before and after school care for older kids, up to 12 years old (we are close to Ashburton Elementary and Wyngate Elementary School). We have an open door policy and encourage parents to stop by (after calling, if possible). Our program follows the play-based teaching philosophy and we can offer a Spanish or Russian bilingual child care and preschool program. This is a great opportunity for your child to become multilingual at a young age! Our Location: Brixton Multilingual Children's Daycare is located off Fernwood Rd in Bethesda, just a minute away from the I-495 Beltway. Our home is conveniently located for your commute since we're also very close to the I-270 Spur and Old Georgetown Rd. We are also near to Georgetown Square Shopping Center and Bethesda Country Club. Superkidos Child Care
Welcome to Superkidos Child Care, my licensed home daycare and preschool in Bethesda, MD! About Me: I’m a professional and experienced child care provider with over 6 years of experience working with diverse personalities and a wide range of ages. Before opening my own family child care program, I've worked for several years in other home daycares as well as child care centers. I've been coordinating child care activities, providing instructional & recreational support as well as supervising groups of children. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and I’m CPR & First-aid certified. I can administer medication to all children attending my program since I’m M.A.T trained. I’m also a mother myself, so I know how challenging it parents to find a loving, safe “second home” for your little one. At my daycare, your children will be treated as if they were my own. I'm patient, positive, dedicated and really enthusiastic about working with children! Curriculum: My home is a bilingual Spanish daycare and preschool, so children can learn this foreign language at a very young age. I follow the Play-based learning approach, promoting learning through fun and educational activities such as Arts & Crafts, Music, Story Time, Yoga and Manners. If weather permits, we go outside to enjoy our outdoor playtime. My goal is to develop each child’s emotional, behavioral and social skills through my curriculum. Program: I’m open year-round from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. I provide full-time care for infants as young as 2 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old and part-time care between the age of 2 and 5 years old, including children with special needs. My facility is peanut and tree-nut free environment, and I serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks to all kids in my care (all meals are already included in the tuition!) Before and after school care are both available for school-age kids, up to 6 years old (I’m close to Burning Tree Elementary School and Bannockburn Elementary School). Please note we have a cat named Tiger living with us at the house. He is up to date on all of his vaccines and he is never around children as he lives in a different part of the house. Location: Superkidos Child Care is located in the Bannockburn neighborhood in Bethesda, MD. My home is right off River Rd (route 190) and Wilson Ln (route 188). I'm centrally located with easy access to the I-495 Capital Beltway, Massachusetts Ave (route 396) and Goldsboro Rd (route 614). Please call or send me an email to schedule a visit, I would love to meet you and your little one!
