Tall Cedars Schoolhouse is licensed home daycare and preschool in Stone Ridge, Aldie, VA. The child care facility is right off Tall Cedars Pkwy and conveniently located near Gum Spring Rd (route 659) and Lee Jackson Memorial Hwy (US-50).
Staff Information:
The owner and director is a mother of 3 with 15 years of experience. She provides high-quality child care and early childhood education in a nurturing and safe environment. She understands how crucial and important it is for parents to finding the best “second home” for their little one. At her daycare, each child feels welcomed and loved :) She’s CPR and First-aid certified, as well as MAT trained.
Curriculum:
Tall Cedars Schoolhouse uses the Creative Curriculum. Teachers have a strong bond with their young students which makes them feel excited to always go to "school". Caregivers create a loving, exciting, and fun learning environment where your child can learn, grow, and be happy.
They can also teach your child the Farsi/Persian language in addition to English upon your request. Although they’re not a bilingual program, this is a great opportunity for your child to learn (or be exposed to) a foreign language. If weather permits, kids will spend their outdoor playtime at their playground facility. They also take the children to a community library where they read books.
Program:
Tall Cedars Schoolhouse is open year-round between 8:00 am and 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. They offer full-time care to accommodate working families with infants as young as 2 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers up to 5 years old.
Parents are welcome to bring food, but the daycare serves breakfast, lunch, and snacks to all children in their care. Meals are all included in the tuition. Due to possible allergies, this is a peanut-free and tree-nut free daycare. Before and after school care are both available for older kids, up to 12 years old (the facility is less than 5 minutes away from Mercer Arcola Elementary School and Goshen Post Elementary School).

She has been taking care of our 3 year old and 6 month old since they were 3 months old. Our boys absolutely love her and her assistants. The meals are always healthy, fresh and homemade. The facility is very clean and maintained. My wife and I get pictures of our 3 year playing or working on his curriculum on a daily bases. Our boys always enjoy going to the daycare and come home happy as can be. I highly recommend this daycare.

The caregiver is wonderful! Our whole neighbor hood goes to her and that is how we found her from word of mouth. When it comes to someone taking care of your child you want to be sure, and you can be with her. She is excellent.

She is the best babysitter ever
Kind, loving, compassionate person
I was sending my kids when they were 2 & 3 years old and they loved her so much they didn't want to go home
Now they are 6 & 7 years old and they still remember her
I highly recommend it to any mom who wants a babysitter.

This provider is genuinely one of the most caring and warm caretakers I have ever met. My son has been with her since he was around 9 months old and he is so happy and thriving there. We are so lucky to have such a wonderful place to send our first child to for child care. This provider is truly amazing, she treats each child as her own and runs a great day care. We are so happy to have our children taken care by Mrs. M. She is responsible, caring, attentive to details and very fair. Our kids love to come here and we are so appreciative to have someone so close to us helping with our kids! Her facility is colorful and age appropriate for all age groups. The kids come home with such colorful crafts - I honestly don’t know how they make them!

This provider is a kind, caring and loving person. She took wonderful care of my girls when I had to return to work. She provides a warm, nurturing and inviting environment. Children are very lucky to be in the care of this provider.
