My family home-based child care program is open year round, located in Centreville, VA, and is run by me, Florencia Postigo since 2002 as a home child care provider. It is open Monday- Friday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM, but I can also provide care outside of my regular hours with an advanced notice. Children as young as six weeks and up to ten years old, including children with special needs, are welcome. Healthy homemade meals are prepared daily and snacks are provided as well. We were so blessed to have a friend tell us about Ms. Florencia's home-based daycare almost 2 years ago. When we first visited, we were greeted with the same warmth, kindness, and passion that she has shown every day since our son has started attending. We knew from the moment we stepped in the door for a tour that this was exactly where we wanted our baby to be if she couldn’t be at home with us. Florencia’s home is clean, safe, warm and welcoming. I’ve known Florencia for over 15 years now , she took great care of my first born 14 years ago and now she takes care of my 2 year old daughter. Florencia is dedicated to the education and safety of the children. My children and I are so blessed to know her.

Florencia's daycare has been such a blessing to our family. Our daughter has been going there since she was 3 months and she is now 2. She loves it and is excited to go each day! One stop shopping for daycare. I have used Florencia's services for about a year. I am a first-time mother of a very active 2-year old and I live a busy lifestyle. Florencia has been a life-saver for our family. Our LO has been going to Florencia's since she was 6 months old (she's 19 months old now) and she loves it. With Florencia's care, support and encouragement, our little girl has been eating, playing and growing so well. I know that our little girl is safe, happy and learning while with Florencia and we just can't thank her enough.

Florencia cared for my son from the age of 6 months to 5 years old. She loved, taught, and took care of him like he was her own. Florencia follows a schedule, teaches age-appropriate curriculum, and cooks delicious food every day. The children would go on walks and play outside on nice days. Florencia has several parks near by and even a mini playground on her back porch. I highly recommend Florencia's daycare!

Ms Postigo took care of my two kids. She's very professional, very good with the kids. My Kids loved her food and they now are teenagers and still love to visit her when we are around her house. I truly recomend her.

Florencia is a great child-care provider. After having a bad experience with a previous one, she was a god-send. My children are safe, happy and eat fresh healthy home-cooked meals. I highly recommend her and will continue to send them to her during their school breaks.

Our daughter was in Florencia's care from the time she was 12 weeks old until she was three. I can't say enough good about her, she is amazing! Florencia is an exemplary home daycare provider! She is loving, structured, patient, and dependable. The kiddos are kept active and engaged with fun and age-appropriate learning activities.
