Belmont Bilingual Spanish Schoolhouse is a licensed family child care and preschool program in Chicago, IL. Hi parents! I’m the owner and lead teacher, and I have 17 years of professional early education experience. We’ve been in the operation since 2003 so you can be sure that your child is safe with us. I run my daycare with my assistant who has 11 years of experience, and we’re both moms! This means we know what you’re looking for when it comes to finding the best second home for your child. We’re family-oriented and we treat each child as an extension of our own family.

Belmont Bilingual Spanish Schoolhouse is a bilingual Spanish daycare, so we teach the Spanish language in addition to English. We use the Creative Curriculum and follow the Play-based learning approach, which allows our young students to learn through play and educational activities. We read books and engage our little students in various educational activities. We also help kids with their homework after school. Our daycare has different learning stations, organized bins of toys, and warm touches like pictures of each child and kids' artwork Our goal is to make sure that every child is having fun while learning; it has been proven that children learn better and improve their knowledge retention if they enjoy the process and if it’s memorable. If weather permits, we also engage them in fun outdoor activities by going to our backyard playground.

Our in-home child care and early childhood education program is open all throughout the year from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We can provide full-time and part-time care for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers between the age of 6 weeks and 5 years old, including children with special needs. Lunch and snacks are included in the tuition and serve to all kids attending our program. We also offer extended evening child care up to midnight (please note that the standard tuition is for standard hours, 6:00 am-6:00 pm; please email to inquire about night rates). We can accommodate before and after school care for school-age kids up to 12 years old (our facility is close to Hanson Park Elementary School and Belmont-Cragin Elementary School).
