First United Methodist Church Vinson is a center in Corpus Christi, TX. Vinson Morris Children's Center is a Christ centered daycare and preschool with a long history of service to the Coastal Bend community. It began in 1962 as a half day kindergarten under the leadership of Vinson Morris, the Director of Christian Education at First United Methodist Church. We believe that children learn about the world around them through play, through daily experiences and through interactions with peers and adults. Our program is designed with an understanding of the developmental stages through which preschool children must pass. We believe that children will benefit by teachers and families working closely in partnership. This will ensure high quality care and education for children.
