Welcome to Willow Pond Cozy Playhouse, my intimate family child care and preschool program in Fairfax, VA. I’m located in the Estates at Fairfax neighborhood, right off Lee Hwy (US-29). Your daily commute to work will be very convenient since I’m between Stringfellow Rd (route 645) and Fairfax County Pkwy (route 286), as well as near the I-66.

About Me:
I’m the owner and main caregiver of this small in-home daycare and preschool and I have 20 years of professional experience. I hold a Master’s Degree in Economics and I’m CPR & First-aid certified, so your little one is always safe under my care.
I’m also a parent, a mom to grown-up children (my eldest is now 26 years old and the youngest is 15 years old), and I can relate to your needs and concerns when it comes to finding safe, high-quality daycare for your child. Before opening my own daycare, I worked as an assistant at Arlington County Elementary School.
Program:
Willow Pond Cozy Playhouse follows the Play-based learning approach, which allows children to learn through play. I offer fun and educational extra-curricular activities, such as yoga, dance, reading, and creative writing. In addition to English, I also speak Hindi, Urdu, and Nepali, and if you want, I can expose your child to these foreign languages (my daycare is not a bilingual program though).
I’m open all through the year from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm, Mondays to Fridays. I offer various child care options to accommodate busy families, such as full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 4 weeks, as well as toddlers and preschoolers through 5 years old. All kids attending my program are provided with peanut and tree-nut free lunch and snacks, which are both already included in the tuition.
I can also provide drop-in care for parents who only have occasional child care needs. For school-age kids up to 10 years old, I can accommodate before and after school care (Colin P. Powell Elementary School and Eagle View Elementary School).

We were looking for a consistent and loving caregiver in an in home environment where commitment to safety was evident, price was reasonable, and hours suited our work schedules. She cares for our toddler as her own. She enjoys the interactive and engaging atmosphere, scheduled activities (yesterday she did yoga!), and loving environment. Our daughter feels at home and looks forward to being there with her teacher and friends.

This is a great care provider. She has watched our children (for many years) since they were 6 weeks. She knows how to engage the children (crafts, songs, play etc). She has helped in potty training the children and teaching them ABC's. She is responsive to the child's needs and will keep them on an agreed schedule such as afternoon naps. She is a great listener and cook!! Kids love her cooking. She is also an experienced caregiver.
