About Me:
Welcome to Amberfield Kids Playhouse, my home daycare and preschool in Gaithersburg, MD! Im the owner and main caregiver and I run a safe, affordable, and educational child care program.
I have 16 years of experience working as a teacher and 5 years of child care experience working at another licensed facility before opening my own daycare.
I hold a Masters degree in Educational Psychology and Im CPR and First-aid certified. If necessary, I can also administer medication to all children in our care since I'm a MAT trained.
Program:
My daycare is open from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday (but I can extend until 6:00 pm if needed). I provide full-time and part-time care for infants as young as 1 week, as well as toddlers through preschoolers up to 5 years old. Snacks are served to all children attending my program (included in the tuition), and I run a peanut-free daycare.
Curriculum:
I believe that children learn through play, and thus I follow the Play-based teaching philosophy. I strive to offer a personalized early learning experience, tailored to each child's unique needs.
My goal is to help each one of my students build self-esteem as well as develop language and motor skills. I have a curriculum with daily activities, focusing on shapes, colors, numbers, drawing, and tracing. Kids learn to write by tracing letters and practice reading new words. I also teach Science and Sign Language.
In addition to English, I also speak Farsi/Persian and upon your request, I can expose your child to this foreign language (this is not a bilingual program, but this is a wonderful opportunity for your little one to learn a foreign language).
My space is inviting and stimulating, with vibrant carpets and charming wall decor. I have set it up beautifully by adding learning posters and decals. I have plenty of toys for little ones, including big activity sets and handheld items like blocks and puzzles. The space feels cozy with photos of kids and holiday cards from parents.
Location:
Amberfield Kids Playhouse is in the Amberfield neighborhood of Gaithersburg, MD. My facility is right off Great Seneca Hwy (route 119), near Muddy Branch Rd. Im just a few minutes away from the I-270 (Washington National Pike) and the I-370, so your commute to work will be convenient.

We love the owner and her staff! They have worked so hard to help our daughter adjust and feel more comfortable! Our daughter is always happy to arrive and seems to enjoy herself while at daycare! She knows so much about children and communicates so well. We came to her from another in home daycare that was closing unexpectedly, and I feel like it was a blessing in disguise! Couldn’t ask for a better place.

This caregiver is the absolute best. Our child has been at her daycare for almost four years. She is the most loving and caring provider and provides a safe and fun environment for the kids. She treats our child and the other kids at her daycare like her own family. We are so lucky to have her!

The owner and her staffs are very warm and caring. My kid went to her daycare since 6 weeks-old and we were treated like family. I never feel worried and sometimes think she takes care of my kid even more careful than I do. My kid loves it there and always wants to go to school and never wants to leave.

The caregiver was amazing and our daughter loved going there. The place was clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. When our daughter comes homes from daycare she calls out the caregiver's name. We unfortunately are moving for a new job or we would not have left. I highly recommend her and we will miss her.

I have an 11 months infant that has been going to this daycare since she was 8 months. I don’t think it’s possible to find a better provider, because this provider and her team are just excellent. My child gets excited the second she sees her door. Words cannot describe how much I am grateful for what they are doing every day. I leave to work with peace of mind, knowing my daughter is being taking care of by family. They are truly amazing!!

This daycare is great for all parents who need a trustworthy environment for their kids!!! As a parent I'm thrilled with how my son is learning and developing from attending!! Suffice to say that this provider has become another family for my child. I would not have been able to cary one as a working mom if it wasnt for her. I know for a fact my child enjoys her time at this place and I would not have it any other way.
