Velinda Johnson Family Child Care is a year-round home-based daycare in Hollywood, MD. Our family child care program is run by Velinda Johnson who has 35 years of child care experience. We are open from 6:30am until 5:30pm and care for children as young as 6 weeks through 12 years old. We offer preschool, as well as, both full time and part time child care, including drop in care. Velinda is an excellent daycare provider. She assists my son with homework and helps teach the kids skills like painting and baking. They enjoy plenty of outdoor time when weather permits. I would highly recommend Velinda to my friends and family.

Velinda has been watching both of my children for over 4 years. Myself as well as my children absolutely adore her. It's not easy to find someone you trust with your kids on a daily basis. She has alway gone above and beyond for all the kids she watches. My daughter was only 8 months old when she started there and she has learned so much from Velinda throughout the years. She's always professional but she's also become like family to all of us.... more
