Marybel Myers Family Child Care, Joppa

Our names are Marybel and Colleen. We are a Maryland State Liscensed Home Daycare. We have been in business since 2002. We enroll children from age 6 weeks and up. Our home school is Joppatowne Elementary. We have a bachelors and 90 clock hrs in Early Childhood Education. We have been working with children for for over twenty four years. We are both First Aid and CPR certified and have also taken our SIDS classes. Both our backgrounds started in centers. Our combined work experience in centers is 17 yrs. Colleen was a director at a center were we first met. Marybel worked as a three yr old teacher at Kiddie Academy. From there she worked as a pre-school teacher in the center were we met. When the owner of the center decided to close the doors is when we decided to open up our own Home daycare. We run a very friendly laid back homelike environment. We are a home away from home.
