West Side Christian Preschool's committee, director, and teachers believe that each child is a unique individual who develops at his/her own rate. Our program encompasses a developmental approach to teaching and provides a wide range of activities for each child. Our staff strives to implement the latest research about how young children learn. We place emphasis on the process, the joy of learning, and creating rather than the finished product. This approach provides each child the opportunity to reach their highest potential.
Our goal is to provide experiences that enrich each childs cognitive, language, social, emotional, physical, and creative development. Children have the opportunity to create, explore their environment, learn problem solving skills, and learn new concepts through hands-on experiences each day. The program is designed to meet the developmental needs of young children (pre-three to kindergarten).
