Hello, parents! Welcome to Spring Woods Kids Corner, a licensed daycare and preschool in Springfield, VA. We're located near the Spring Woods community, at the junction between Newington and West Springfield, making it convenient for parents commuting on Fairfax County Pkwy (route 286) and Franconia-Springfield Pkwy (route 289). We offer a warm, nurturing educational environment for your precious little ones, from infants (6 weeks old) to toddlers and preschoolers (up to 5 years old). We offer flexible child care options including full-time and part-time to fit your family's needs. We're open from 7:00am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday. Nutritious lunches and snacks are included in the tuition and to avoid allergies, we maintain a peanut free and tree-nut free environment.

Here at Spring Woods Kids Corner, we offer more than just child care, we strive to be an extended family support system, nurturing not just children but also the families we work with. Our in-home family child care setting caters to the emotional and developmental needs of each child, providing loving care in a professional, yet intimate environment. We have a beautiful, fenced-in facility with a dedicated backyard, and outdoor playground. This gives our little students space to explore, develop physically, and get some fresh air. We also have a separate nap room to ensure restful naps.

I'm the owner and primary caregiver, and I have 35 years of experience caring for children. Before opening my own licensed facility, I worked as an assistant in other daycares, and I'm also a mother of 2 grow-up children. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Teaching and I'm also CPR and First-aid certified, ensuring the safety and well-being of all our little ones.
