Creative Arts is a small home-based Reggio inspired child care program in Bethesda, MD. We offer an "at-home" atmosphere where your child will feel comfortable as they grow, learn, and play.
Besides the basics, we give students an enormous amount of creative and gross motor skills development opportunities. These include art classes, music classes, bilingual or language immersion programs (Spanish & Russian), as well as outdoor free play.
We strive to include enrichment activities that extend our students' knowledge and understanding of the world outside the classroom. Each month, our older students take a field trip to a working farm, museums, and other local places of interest.

This daycare is amazing hands down! Our daughter started there at 3 months and continues to flourish as she just turned 2 years old! All the teachers are fantastic and love your child like it’s their own. This daycare enriches all the children’s through various activities such as music, art, and field trips. I truly and fully trust this daycare and the teachers and therefore highly recommend this daycare to anyone looking for the highest quality of childcare.

I can’t say enough good things about this daycare. The teachers love my kids as if they were their own, and tailor their approach to each child’s learning style. As a result, my children have developed such intellectual curiosity and love of learning. The curriculum includes art, music, and Spanish language, focus on gross & fine motor skills, and there are great field trips on a regular basis. The teachers understand that children this age have a need to move, and make sure the kids have plenty of physical activity mixed into their day. Additional features that impressed me from the get-go are the cleanliness of the facilities, the amazing on-site playground, the healthy lunches provided, and the attention to safety. I wholeheartedly recommend this daycare and will be sad when the last of my kids moves on to pre-K.

We absolutely love this daycare run. Our daughter was very happy there. She felt loved by the teachers, she made fantastic friends, and had wonderful adventures and experiences every day. We loved the focus on arts and creative activities. In addition, the Spanish component of the program is a great bonus. Our daughter thrived there, and we'd recommend it to anyone.

My 1 year old has been at the daycare since 8 weeks old. He has thrived in the caring environment and never once has been sad or apprehensive to be left during the day - in fact he giggles when he sees that we have arrived each morning and eagerly goes to any of the caregivers. He gets a lot of attention while there but also has learned to be independent and has acquired skills beyond his age from being around some of the older children. They do a great job of tolerating minor health issues so he doesn't get sent home for every runny nose. He eats, naps, and plays well while he is there. We have loved the security and love he has at the daycare and will enroll our second child as well when she is 8 weeks old in the fall.

We've been extremely happy with this daycare. Our son has been there for 2 years and he loves it. The personal care he's been receiving is outstanding. He is always happy when we drop him off and never wants to leave early from there. He is always happy in the morning to see his day caregivers. The food is cooked fresh everyday and has great variety, very different than larger daycare programs that our older son used to go to. The older kids (older than 2) are also taken to field trips regularly. There is also great emphasis on art, languages and music, starting at very young age. Bottom line: it's a great daycare that provides great personal care!!

This has been a home away from home for our twin girls, and we couldn’t be happier with the care they have received here. As first time parents, we were so apprehensive about leaving our kids at daycare after having a nanny for the first several months, but all our fears were put to rest when we met the owner, toured the facilities, and saw how much our girls were flourishing in their care. The facilities are bright, and kept organized and clean at all times. There is an expansive outdoor play area, as well as a “gym” in the basement for bad weather days. The teachers are truly wonderful—they are interactive with the kids and really focus on development and lessons throughout the day. Every night before bed, our now-two year olds have a ritual of saying “night night” to all the teachers and kids they know from school, which makes us feel great about the choice we made in coming here. I would absolutely recommend this daycare to anyone who wants a safe, dependable and creative learning environment for their child.

What can I say? If I didn't trust the owner and her staff, our son, he would not be going there everyday! He loves his teachers and I feel that they love him back... He has gone to 2 of this owner's daycares, and both are very good. Our son has started to potty train already and he's not even 2 yet! The curriculum is not approved by whatever agency approves day cares...that is why I only gave it 4 hearts. Having said that our son is learning a lot! I was surprised when he started counting and doing his A,B, C's without any errors and without any prodding. He loves the art program and music! We, my wife and I, love the texts and emails showing our son enjoying himself that we get regularly. It makes my day when I have a text and he's smiling. The owner also takes the kids on "road trips" to museums, the park, Dynamite Gymnastics in Rockville, Butler's Orchard for the corn maze in the fall, Bunnyland during Easter, etc. This daycare facility has a basement with ride-on toys that the kids can enjoy during bad weather. The kids do a Holiday Pageant and the school opens up to the families of the kids for a holiday party! Miss D. prepares fresh meals for the kids daily along with snacks... Plus every child gets a birthday party complete with a special hat and cup cakes! Just prior to Easter, they had an Easter Egg Hunt for the kids in the playground. No holiday goes by that they don't have a party... Halloween last year (2015) was great! I could go on and on but as far as I'm concerned, the owner runs outstanding facilities and our son will be well prepared for whatever comes next in his life like um... kindergarten. In closing I have to share that our son cries everyday when I come to get him and he says he wants to stay... That should tell you something about how he's treated... It's his second home and he's treated like family!

My daughter has been going here since she was 3 months old and we absolutely love it! The staff is great- they are are very interactive with the kids- playing games, arts and crafts, music days, spending lots of time outside and really focus on the development of motor and social skills ( I know my little one has benefited greatly from all the activities). My daughter started eating solids (baby food) while attending this daycare and the food they provided was great- she would eat every last bit of it! The children's play areas, both inside and out, are very well kept, with lots of toys, games and activities for the children. Additionally, there is lots of natural sunlight, which is also great for the children. I know it was really hard for me to drop my 3 month off when I went back to work, but this center really made the transition so easy for me because I know she is always well taken care of here. I would highly highly recommend this daycare, they are truly wonderful!

Alessia has been with this daycare since she was 6 months old. Since she went there, she has learned to walk, talk, and she has learned colors, shapes, counting, the numbers and some letters. She also has learned potty training, and basics of washing hands, etc. The food that is served is very good. The rooms are sunny, open and very clean with lots of toys of all varieties to play with. The children are all very well mannered, and the staff are very patient with all the children so that they can learn in a happy environment. Alessia was a very fussy baby, but the owner and her staff were always patient and calm in taking care of her. Alessia is happy to go to daycare each day, looking forward to playing with her friends, doing new art projects, singing songs, etc. I have been very happy to have my child there!

My son has been in this wonderful child care center since he was 18 months old. He has had a great time here with the warmth, love and generous care provided by the teachers. The provider is very nurturing and loves the kids. What truly sets this place apart is that not only do they have a great facility and curriculum focused in art, languages and other fun activities but they also provide nutritious home made food and they do all this with genuine sincerity and care. My son loves the owner and all his teachers and continues to thrive under their care.
